The size of the mattress is standard queen. It is thinner than your normal spring mattress because of the foam. With memory foam, you sink into the mattress more with your full body. With this mattress the firmness is nice if you like more support for your body.

The mattress is very nice for people who want more support during sleep. It is quite the upgrade from a spring filled mattress. There are no longer nights of waking up two or three times. I sleep all the way through the night with this mattress.

When I wake I feel refreshed instead of groggy like I only fell asleep for 2 hours. Another great thing about the memory foam is the lack of transferred movement. It is just like what you see on the commercials with people jumping on the bed with a glass of wine and not knocking it over. When your partner turns on their side or gets up for a glass of water you will never know it.

This also makes it useful to surprise them with breakfast in bed. You can slide out without them knowing and ruining the surprise. One downside about the mattress is that I sometimes find it hot. I am naturally warm blooded but it seems as though this mattress holds heat more than a conventional mattress.

However, the good support and nights of sleep without waking more than make up for it. If you have a nice set of sheets to put on the bed it helps with the heat issue. Also, there is no need for box springs which helps cut down on the cost. And most memory foam mattresses come with great warranties.
