Pros
- Easily put together
- Extremely durable
Cons
- Takes awhile to deflate, if you move it to another location.
- Not meant for people with small children or cats, as it probably would rip if punctured with something sharp like toys or claws.
Air Mattress I purchased this airbed at Walmart when it was on sale for $50.00, almost five years ago, and it’s still in perfect shape. That’s saying a lot I think, for something this inexpensive, that is used every day. Putting it together was pretty simple. I just took it out of the box, unfolded it completely, plugged in the built-in air pump and watched it go from a huge piece of flat plastic, to a fully inflated, queen-sized bed, measuring 80” x 60” x 22” high. By putting in more or less air, you can adjust the firmness of the unit. No matter what your preference, you can make it comfortable for you.
The whole process took about fifteen minutes. This bed is actually as high as a regular bed. This feature makes it a lot easier for those of us with a bad back, to get out of bed without hurting. Also, it’s made of 16 gauge vinyl which makes it durable and long lasting.
Finally, I gave it the ultimate “sleep” test, and by morning, decided that I’d made a great choice. It was just as comfortable as a regular bed and I liked the way the manufacturer covered the top with flocked fabric, so it doesn’t feel like you’re sleeping on plastic, even if you don’t put a sheet on it. I have been so satisfied with this bed that when I moved from my apartment into a house, I decided against buying a regular bed. I will probably continue sleeping on it for as long as it remains in perfect shape.
