I purchased the Sealy Posture Firm mattress about a year and a half ago because my doctor recommended a firmer mattress to help with some back problems that I had been experiencing. I can safely say after the last year that the mattress has done an excellent job. For those of you looking for a soft, plushy mattress, this is not the one for you. The mattress definitely lives up to the name that the company has given it.

It is very firm and is great for helping people with bad backs or posture. Initially, it was hard to get used to something this firm, but eventually I became accustomed to it and now sleep well on it every night. Also, for an inner spring mattress it does a pretty good job of keeping quiet and it does not bounce around too much when there is a substantial amount of pressure put on it.

In addition, the size is perfect. I am a fairly big person (6’2’’ and 200 lbs), and I fit comfortably on the bed. That isn’t to say that I would fit better on a Queen or King though! All in all, I would say that for somebody who is looking to improve their posture or fix some back pain, or just sleep on a firmer mattress, this one should do the trick.
