The mattress is a standard 6’0 sized king of average thickness. It is of medium firmness and softness. There is no additional foam so there is very little padded feel compaired to other foam or pillowtop mattresses.

The surface is the traditional nylon-like substance that has a slightly silky feel. It is smooth and soft to the touch and has a bit of a shine to it. The bottom of the mattress is not useable (it is not flippable) but is coated in a nonslip rubber-like material.

I would have to say this mattress has been somewhat dissappointing. After about a year it began to show slight sagging under each side (where we sleep). After 5 years, there are now noticeable dips on either side.

The bed is still completely useable and sleeps good, but for the brand name, we expected better. As far as actual comfort, the bed sleeps well enough. It does give a good bit though if you sit up on it.

Instead of being a linear type of support, it continues to give the same amount regardless of how much weight you put on it. A better bed would have a more progressively stiff feel to it. Overall, the bed is of average quality.
