Pros

- Although it is a quality product, and you might sleep through your alarm in the morning, as I did.
I just got this mattress a few months ago, and I am utterly impressed. The mattress has completely changed the way my wife and I sleep. The commercials you see on television with a tester dropping a bowling ball on the mattress- it’s unbelievably true. And I’ve never fallen asleep so quickly and stayed comfortable for so long on any other mattress I’ve had. In fact, I slept through the alarm the next day. The pocket coils almost make you feel weightless, as you are supported in just about any position. We got a queen-size, and it is plenty large enough for us.
The plush-top is very supporting, and you can really tell that this is a quality product made by one of the longest running mattress companies in the world. The price tag is a little steep, but our last mattress was a cheap full size that we got at some furniture store downtown – it only lasted us about 8 months before it began to get deformed. So we decided it was important for us to make a serious investment in finding a replacement. And we did, and we couldn’t be happier. If you are serious about sleep, and you are willing to fork a little extra out, than this is the one to buy.

- I found it very comfy, and still is to some degree for a 3 yr old bed (or maybe 4 years).
Cons
- Has a dent where I sleep mostly.
- Was a bit pricey, but not compared to other models, some of which were like quadrupedal the price.
Mine is the Queen Size model which was only about 50 dollars from the size just under. Its not too soft like those tempurpedic’s but in my opinion like medium firmness.
Ive had mine for I think 3 years and it has semi noticeable dent in it from where I usually sleep. So it wont last forever, but its still holding up fine! I dropped a cigarette on it bare and it was very fire retardant! Although I hope you don’t have to ever deal with a mattress on fire.
So overall I would say its a medium. No hard spots because it has air springs, not as much metal springs I guess.
This queen size mattress is the perfect combination of support and softness! Ever since we got married, finding a bed we both enjoy has been an issue. My husband has had back problems for years and needs a firmer mattress, but I need something soft.
Sleep number beds were too expensive, so this bed was a great compromise. My husband’s back is supported, but we both sleep comfortably. Also, unlike our old mattress, we don’t hear the coils at all. This bed also has minimal “bounce effect”, which is nice, because we both tend to roll over a lot in our sleep. The matching box spring adds extra support and more height to the bed than we were used to, but we like it. The entire set feels extremely durable, and I’m sure we’ll have it for years to come.
The bottom line: This mattress offers high quality support and softness for much less than other brands. If you are looking for something between firm and plush, this mattress is a great way to go. If you prefer sleeping on a cloud, I would go with a pillowtop.
If I could change anything about this mattress, it would be the color. Why do they make all mattresses white now? We have three small children, and even with a protective bad, sometimes messes get through. This mattress now has several stains that I can’t ever get out.

My Simmons Beauty Rest mattress has met and exceeded my expectations since I purchased it about 5 years ago. The queen size mattress is ample room for me and my husband, both of whom frequently change position throughout a night’s sleep in all directions. Its foam with covered coils still show no signs of giving out and the surface is as even as the day I got it.
Occasionally I’ll get up in such a way that a coil inside will make a noise, but hasn’t seemed to result in damage. It’s on the firm side, and while I tend to like softer mattresses it’s still comfortable.

- Too comfortable? Sometimes I almost sleep too well (have a hard time waking up).
- So plush that sheets don’t fit quite as well.
Simmons Beauty Rest Queen sized bed mattress . This is a great bed! I cannot say enough good things about the bed. My husband and I have a medium firm queen sized bed, and it is wonderful. I prefer firmer beds, and my husband prefers softer beds, but this is a great compromise for both of us.
It is firm enough for me, but still soft and comfortable enough for my husband. This bed is very comfortable, and I sleep so well in it! Sometimes I am pretty groggy waking up since I get such a good night’s sleep, but that isn’t much of a bad thing to me.
The bed is a few years old, and it still sleeps as well as it ever has. We rotate and flip the bed a few times a year, to keep it from getting worn in on one side, and that has been the only kind of “maintenance” that we have had to do with it. And by doing this one simple thing, we have great results – a wonderful bed that is great to sleep in.
I don’t see any change in comfort level from when we first purchased it, so I anticipate being able to use it for a very long time. The bed is maybe on the more expensive side of the spectrum, but for the quality and longevity of the product, it is totally worth it.
