The Tempur-pedic Deluxe memory-foam mattress that I own is a high-profile (10″) Queen size mattress. I have had it for 12 years, and it is the best mattress I have ever purchased. It is not too firm, nor is it too soft.

Even after all these years, I have never had to turn it or flip it, and it performs as well as the first day I bought it. The edges are substantial enough to sit on them without sinking. Any movement is isolated to the specific area, and does not transfer to the rest of the bed – I can get in or out of bed and not wake my husband!

There is a washable cover for the mattress. I did notice the tendency for the fine mesh covering the mattress itself to collect lint from the underside of the cover, but it did not affect the comfort of the mattress. The mattress was purchased with the corresponding foundation piece.

The mattress and foundation come with a 20-year warranty, with full replacement in the first 10 years, and pro-rated for the last 10 years. There was a period of a few days initially to get used to it, but I am very satisfied with it and will purchase another one when this one wears out!

I have a twin extra long, and the length of it is perfect. However, in retrospect I wish I had gone with a queen so I could have more room to spread out. To the touch, the bed seems quite firm, but when you sleep on it, its actually incredibly soft, yet supportive at the same time.

About a year ago, I was experiencing some uncomfortable back pain when I woke up in the morning. I had seen the Tempur-Pedic commercials and decided to give one a try. I tried a couple out at a local store and the DeluxeBed seemed to be the most comfortable to me. When I first got it, it seemed kind of strange sleeping on it because it’s just a very different feeling. But soon I became accustomed to it and after sleeping on it for a week or so, I noticed that my back pain in the morning was completely gone.

It’s incredibly comfortable and seems to cradle you while you sleep. It has a firm, yet very soft feeling to it that feels great. Now, whenever I sleep on a “normal” bed, such as in a hotel, that bed seems remarkably uncomfortable and I wake up with a sore back just like before. I really can’t stress enough how much I love this bed.

I would highly recommend it to anyone with back pain or anyone who just wants a more comfortable bed. It was more expensive compared to other higher end mattresses, but to me the investment was completely worth it.

My husband and I own a king size tempur-pedic memory foam mattress with 3 tempur-pedic pillows. The mattress is soft and molds to our bodies providing a relaxing sleep environment. It feels like we are sleeping on a cloud. For the size and brand of mattress it is expensive, but in the long run it is worth the investment. My husband tends to move around in his sleep; prior to purchasing the mattress I would wake up as he tossed and turned; now I don’t feel a thing!

The only thing I can complain about is that the mattress is very heavy. It is recommended that we flip the mattress every couple of months; we don’t do this because my husband can not lift it by himself. Another minor issue is that the mattress becomes firm if it is too cold in the bedroom, for example, we keep the windows open t night in the winter. The side of the bed closest to the window is firmer that the other side.

It’s strange, but I guess it’s the material. I recommend buying the mattress cover so the mattress itself does not get dirty. The mattress cover is great since it is machine washable. We are so happy with our mattress that when we go on vacation we realize how great out mattress is compared to regular spring mattresses. After a couple of days away from home we anticipate sleeping ‘in our own bed’. I would definitely purchase another tempur-pedic mattress and would not consider any other brands.

This is a roomy queen-sized mattress. The DeluxeBed is one step up from Tempur-Pedic’s basic model, which means you get a thicker layer of their memory foam and thus the mattress is a little softer than the basic model. Overall though, this is a fairly firm mattress – the more expensive the Tempur-Pedic model is, the more memory foam you will get and the softer the mattress will be.

The proprietary Tempur material holds your body shape and gives you a great night’s sleep no matter what position you sleep in. I sleep on my stomach, so other mattresses caused my middle to sink down and put a lot of strain on my back. I would wake up all the time with a sore back with my old mattress. The Tempur-Pedic DeluxeBed offered a great amount of support as well as comfort.

People have said early versions of the Tempur-Pedic mattresses were too hot, but this model has their Dual AirFlow system which keeps the bed at a comfortable temperature all night long. You also never have to flip or rotate the mattress. This is the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on, and I definitely miss it when traveling and I have to sleep on lower quality beds. On our old spring mattress we’d end up rolling towards the center of the bed, but the Tempur-Pedic mattress stays perfectly flat. There’s also no transfer of motion, so when one person gets out of bed or is tossing and turning all night, the other person in the bed doesn’t feel it. I’d definitely recommend this bed if you like a firmer, but very comfortable and supportive mattress.
